Pambula NSW

Next stop was only an hour and a half up the Princess hwy from Mallacoota to Pambula where we stayed at the Big 4 Discovery at Pambula Beach for 9 nights.

We are a regular here for our holidays as it provides the boys with so much fun especially with the Kids club they have all year round from 10-12pm on weekdays. So between that, the jumping pillow, the indoor and outdoor pools, the playground and the beach we rarely left the park. We blew the budget and booked an ensuite site so A could get used to having showers rather than baths. One bonus here is not only do you have a shower loo and hand basin but next door you have a lockable storage room that can accomdate bikes fishing gear etc. However in saying all of that we would of just been better off booking a normal site as the park has a childrens bathroom which we were unware of previously.

We spent our time here just relaxing and getting into holiday mode, having breakfast by the lake at Merimbula and just enjoying family time. As we were staying here for a while we set up our Australian Wide Annexe which we had made not only weeks prior to our trip. The great thing about this annexe is  its not only the canvas on the outside of the windows that you can roll up but the fly screen as well.

We did do a few day trips up to the Bega Cheese factory for morning tea then up to a fantastic play ground at Tathra and had fish and chips on the beach for lunch.

We also visited Eden and to the Killer Whale museum the Merimbula EAT festival along the fishpen walk way where we sampled some of the delights local chefs had on offer.
