First stop Mallacoota

12 months ago we set out a leaving date of the 2nd of March 2013 however we all know best laid plans never go to order and due to medical appointments as A has 3 congential heart defects which will require surgery in the near future, we needed to get the "A OK" to embark on such an adventure, so we didnt set off till the 5th. We decided to stop at Mallacoota  and stay at the Forshore holiday park. (camps 7, VIC 3). Lovely park that has 650 sites, some are waterfront with your own mooring or jetty. We had a powered site number 640 up on the hill away from the water as requested but close to the very clean amenties and a a great playground. This park is all for family holidays and dont charge for children under 5 yo so we paid $52 for the 2 nights. Lovely spacious park even though it was busy the sites are big, pets are welcome and the park offers free WI FI. Parked behind us was another family just starting thier travels around australia for 12 months with 3  young boys which J had a fantastic time playing with. A park that we will come back to for sure in the future, maybe when the boys are older and can fish their hearts out not only on the lake but out on the beach

Looking back to the little beach at the lake
